Ecommerce migration pricing

Know the migration cost before we touch production

Every engagement has a published starting price. A paid assessment sets the scope, and the implementation price is fixed before any production work begins. Fixed scope. Fixed price. No hourly surprises.

  • One migration lead
  • Trial before production
  • Fixed scope. Fixed price.
  • Your SEO moves with your data

From first question to fixed price

  1. 01

    Free fit check

Tell us where the store is now and where it needs to go. We reply with the likely engagement and what we need to assess next.

  2. 02

    Paid migration assessment

A detailed technical scope of your store and a fixed implementation quote.

  3. 03

    Fixed-price proposal

Scope, exclusions, timeline and one fixed price for the implementation.

  4. 04

    Contract and migration

We inspect the source. We agree what moves. We test it. Then we move production.

Three engagements, sized by the problem

Choose by how much of the business is moving, not by the size of the invoice. Each engagement has a published starting price; the assessment fixes the exact scope and price.

Migration Essentials

Move the standard data safely.

From€1,490

Fixed price after assessment.

Best for: Straightforward stores that mainly need their data moved safely.

Typically includes

  • Source store audit

  • Standard content where applicable
  • Mapping approval before import
  • Representative trial migration
  • Final migration with record-count validation

If your store has any of these, the assessment shows it and the approved scope includes it—or recommends Managed Migration instead.

  • App-owned custom fields
  • Unusual bundles or subscriptions
  • Advanced B2B logic
  • Complicated multilingual setups
  • ERP, PIM or WMS connections
  • Non-standard databases or complex custom integrations

What affects ecommerce migration cost?

Migration cost is not a function of product count alone. These are the factors the assessment measures before we fix a price.

Products and variants
Not just how many, but how many option dimensions, product types and bundles.
Customers
Accounts, addresses, groups and whether passwords can move or must be reset.
Historical orders
How many years of history, which statuses, refunds and invoices must stay readable.
Data quality
Duplicates, missing identifiers and inconsistent attributes need rules before they move.
Platform pair
Some source and target models map closely; others need transformation or rebuilds.
Custom fields
Values stored by apps, modules or custom tables that standard exports miss.
Apps and plugins
Each one needs a decision: replace, rebuild, integrate or retire.
Custom integrations
Connections to carriers, accounting, marketplaces or internal tools.
Markets
Each additional store, country or currency adds pricing, tax and content decisions.
Languages
Translated products, categories and URLs that must stay linked to each other.
ERP, PIM and WMS
Systems that own data the store only displays change who is the source of truth.
SEO footprint
The number of indexable URLs, backlinks and landing pages that need a redirect target.
Custom functionality
Features someone once paid to build, such as configurators or special checkout steps.
Launch and delta complexity
Order volume during the switch decides the freeze window and delta-migration plan.

What doesn't increase the price after scope approval?

Once the assessment and scope are approved, the implementation price is fixed.

If the agreed migration simply takes us longer than we estimated, that is our problem—not an extra invoice. More trial runs, more mapping iterations or a harder-than-expected edge case inside the agreed scope do not change the price.

  • Extra time on the agreed scope
  • Additional trial runs we need to get it right
  • Fixing our own mapping or migration defects
  • Launch-day work that was part of the plan

We don't bill migration surprises by the hour, and we don't publish hourly rates: you buy an agreed result, not time.

Scope changes, not surprise overruns

The price changes only when the agreed scope changes. Anything new is priced before it is done, and you decide whether to add it.

Examples of scope changes

  • An additional store or country
  • Another marketplace
  • A new integration, such as an extra ERP connection
  • A different target platform
  • A new data source
  • Additional years of historical data
  • A custom feature not supplied during the assessment
  • Source data that is substantially different from what was assessed

Each change comes as a written scope and price addition you approve first. Nothing is billed after the fact.

What the 30 days of post-launch support cover

A fixed period included in Managed Migration and Full Replatforming, not a recurring retainer.

Covered

  • Migration defects
  • Mapping issues
  • Redirect defects
  • Missing migrated data
  • Launch QA issues

Not covered

  • New features
  • New design work
  • New integrations
  • Unrelated development

If you want help beyond that period, we offer it as a separate fixed support package—never an automatic subscription.

Need only part of the migration?

Each of these can be bought on its own or added to an engagement. Starting prices are fixed per scope once assessed.

  • SEO Migration & GEO

    From€1,490

URL inventory, redirect mapping, metadata, canonicals, internal links, structured data review, pre- and post-launch crawls, sitemap validation and search-visibility monitoring setup.

Keeps the search footprint you built attached to the new URLs. GEO here means clear structure, entity clarity, crawlability and machine-readable content—not promised AI visibility.

    Plan my SEO migration
  • Data Cleanup & Mapping

    From€790

Duplicate detection, identifiers and SKU mapping, broken records, normalisation, transformation rules and legacy-data decisions.

Turns inconsistent exports into one canonical model the target platform can validate.

    Assess my data
  • Supplier Feed Integration

    From€990per source

XML, CSV or API supplier feeds mapped to your catalogue, validated and scheduled, with field-ownership rules and error reporting.

Keeps catalogue updates flowing without letting an unreviewed feed overwrite your store.

    Scope my feed integration
  • Marketplace Integration

    From€1,490per marketplace

Catalogue, stock and order flows between your store and a marketplace—for example Amazon, Zalando, Miravia or GLAMI. Examples only, not partnerships.

Sells on another channel from one source of product data instead of a second manual catalogue.

    Scope a marketplace integration

Final invoicing and any applicable taxes are confirmed in the proposal.

Pricing questions

Why can't you give one price for every migration?

Because two stores with the same product count can need very different work. Custom fields, apps, integrations, markets, order history and SEO footprint decide the effort. We publish starting prices so you know the minimum investment, and fix the exact price after the assessment.

What is included in the assessment?

A source and target review, data inventory, mapping overview, major risks, app and integration inventory, SEO and URL scope, exclusions and unknowns, the proposed method, timeline, launch approach and a fixed implementation proposal.

Is the assessment fee refundable?

The fee pays for the assessment work itself, so it is not refunded. If you don't proceed, you still receive every assessment deliverable and can use it however you like.

Is the assessment fee deducted from the migration?

Yes. The €290 assessment fee is credited in full toward the migration or replatforming implementation if you proceed.

When is the final price fixed?

After the assessment. The proposal states the scope, exclusions and one fixed implementation price. Once you approve that scope, the price is fixed.

Can the price change later?

Only if the agreed scope changes—for example a new country, marketplace, integration or data source. If the agreed work simply takes us longer than planned, the price stays the same.

What counts as a scope change?

Anything that was not part of the approved scope: an additional store or country, another marketplace, an extra integration, more historical data, a custom feature not mentioned during the assessment or source data that differs substantially from what we assessed. Each is priced and approved before any work.

Can I buy SEO migration separately?

Yes. SEO Migration & GEO starts from €1,490 and can be bought on its own—for example when your team or another agency moves the data.

Can you migrate only the data?

Yes. Migration Essentials, from €1,490, is built for stores that mainly need their data moved safely. The assessment confirms whether that scope fits.

Do you charge hourly?

No. We don't sell hours and we don't publish hourly rates. You buy an agreed scope for a fixed price.

Is post-launch support included?

Managed Migration and Full Replatforming include 30 days of post-launch support for migration defects, mapping issues, redirect defects, missing migrated data and launch QA issues. New features, design work and new integrations are not part of it.
