Security

Migration access should be limited, traceable and temporary

Every project needs its own access, transfer, retention and deletion plan. This page describes the default control model, not an unverified certification.

Final security controls and any data-processing agreement must be approved for the client, jurisdictions and data classes involved.

Least-privilege access

Use dedicated accounts and the smallest permissions that allow the agreed extraction, test import and validation.

Separate environments

Trial work belongs in a controlled target or staging environment. Production writes follow an approved runbook.

Protected transfer

Choose encrypted transport and restricted storage appropriate to the source. Do not send credentials in ordinary documents or chat.

Logs and reconciliation

Record runs, errors, counts and exceptions so changes can be traced and reviewed.

Retention and deletion

Agree how long working exports, logs and backups are retained, who can access them and how deletion is confirmed.

Incident contacts

Name technical and business contacts, escalation rules and stop conditions before production migration.
