Ecommerce migrations, handled

Your store is moving. We’ll pack the data.

Products, variants, customers, orders, images, content and URLs—moved from almost any platform to almost any other, with one person keeping the whole move on track.

Can’t see your platform? Choose Other. We assess every route individually—this is not a list of one-click connectors.

  • One person owns the move
  • Trial run before launch
  • SEO and redirects travel with the data

The boxes are easy. The hidden connections are not.

Most migration trouble starts when fields, apps or URLs are assumed instead of checked. We make those decisions visible early.

Different data models

A product, variant or category can mean something structurally different in the new platform.

Hidden custom data

Apps, modules and custom tables often hold business-critical values outside standard exports.

Broken URL continuity

Unmapped URLs, redirect chains and stale internal links turn a platform change into an SEO incident.

Untested edge cases

The average product passes. The unusual bundle, translated variant or historical order exposes the gap.

No accountable owner

Tools can move records. A named lead must approve trade-offs, exceptions and the launch.

We move it in six calm, checkable steps

You always know what is happening, what was checked and what still needs your sign-off.

  1. 01

    Look around

We list the data, custom features, dependencies and the reason for the move.

  2. 02

    Make the packing plan

Every important field gets a destination, a rule or an explicit decision.

  3. 03

    Run a trial move

A representative sample reaches the new store before the real moving day.

  4. 04

    Check every box

We compare counts, relationships, storefront behaviour and URLs.

  5. 05

    Moving day

We follow the agreed freeze, delta, redirect and launch plan.

  6. 06

    Help the store settle in

After launch we watch errors, buying journeys, redirects and visibility.

The whole move—or just the difficult part

A real person stays responsible

Martin leads the project, explains the trade-offs and keeps automation in its proper place: quietly behind the scenes.

Martin Šebesta

Founder & migration lead

Leads discovery, explains the options, approves the mapping and stays responsible through launch and handover.

Martin personally reviews migration scope, mapping decisions and launch readiness.

More checks, less manual busywork

Behind the scenes, automation helps inventory files, compare counts, spot missing relationships and prepare QA lists. It raises flags; Martin makes the call.

Tools help us compare more rows and catch more mismatches. You still speak to Martin, and Martin still approves the production decisions.

Questions worth asking before moving day

Can you migrate a custom or unknown platform?

Yes, after we inspect a database, API or representative export and define a source contract. We do not assume a ready connector.

Will all data move?

The audit identifies what can move directly, what needs transformation, what needs a functional replacement and what should be archived or excluded with approval.

Can rankings be guaranteed?

No. We can inventory URLs, create and test relevant redirects, preserve metadata where appropriate and monitor the move. Search engines decide rankings.

Does the store have to stop selling?

Not throughout the project. Launch may require a short controlled freeze or a delta migration, depending on the two systems and transaction volume.

Do you run a trial migration?

For non-trivial stores, yes. A representative trial is how mappings and edge cases are validated before the final run.

What happens to apps and customisations?

They are inventoried and assigned a decision: replace with target functionality, rebuild, integrate, archive or exclude.

How do you handle access and data?

Access should be least-privilege and time-limited. The precise retention and deletion plan is agreed for each engagement.
